We're trying to connect all those people who have favorite games from college or their childhood but can't find enough folks to play them. We'll also try anything new too.
Once we reach critical mass we'll be meeting at various locations around town (like coffeehouses, restaurants, and maybe even conference facilities depending on how large it gets). Think of it like a regular Con that happens all the time! :)
This isn't intended as a poker, wargaming, CCG, or RPG group, as several of those exist already. This is more for traditional card and board games (like the list above) and more social/recreational gatherings.

We will be meeting almost every day this summer to get together and play games of all kinds. Come join us for free and at any time.
This Saturday I will be running a MTG Saviors of Kamigawa Tournament, which will also be the pre-beginning to a League. Prizes for both winners and losers.
Sunday I will run a Warlords Tournament for pretty cheap.
Tuesday there will also be a Pirates (cardboard miniatures) demonstration, followed by a tournament.
Then Wednesday begins a Mirrodin Block League where you get a Starter and 2 Boosters of your choice, plus then we draft a pack each, and at the end there are prizes for winners and losers.
Thursdays there is always D&D.
Other regular role playing games, board games, and miniatures evenings will also start.
And of course there is also RPGA.
In the future will be Board Game and Miniatures Tournaments.

We're just looking for a GM for gurps fantasy (preferably in a darker style). We want to game every saturday from about 5pm to whenever we get done. We already have some characters that we've spent some time with, our GM just turned into a flake, so we'd like to continue using these characters. Age doesn't matter, just creativity and dedication.

House Rules:
|
No smoking inside, no drugs at all (alcohol included). And bring SOMETHING, minis, food, drink, roll of toilet paper or paper towels, donation to the gaming fund (so far it's worked pretty well).

Stated above, but just in case. Saturdays. We can try other days, but some people are in school.

Player looking for a gaming group that meets monthly. AD&D is best, but also interested in Rolemaster, Seven Seas, Changeling, or medieval/fantasy worlds. Big on roleplaying, low on hack-n-slash. Prefer small groups and campaigns, groups age 18+. Already a member of one monthly gaming group.

Description:

Two shuffling 3e D&D groups twice a month on Sundays. Also strategy boardgame night every other Friday ( roborally, settlers, Diplomacy, etc. ) Two DM's w/ 9 9-11th lvl players. Setting in Forgotten Realms, campaign players shuffled into new groups between adventures. Originally one group that got too d@mn big. Occational openings. Group age: late 20's to early 30's w/ varying experience from first timers to old 1e players.
